Increases in the cost of ink cartridges

The price of branded ink cartridges is set to rise again this month so now is the time to consider using third party alternatives which cost up to 75% less than the branded printer inks. Compatible ink cartridges are available for most all printer brands and not only offer a small price tag but also great quality prints and the same number of prints per cartridges as branded OEM cartridges. A number of independent parties have run tests to compare the prints from compatible and original cartridges and the result are always that the only difference is a slight variation in the colour tone in the two sets of prints. The difference is so slight that it can only been seen in a photo print and when the two same prints are put side-by-side. When you consider that a set of compatible Epson SX405 ink cartridges cost £11 and a set of genuine Epson inks costs £30 is hard to see the sense is buying original cartridges.
